War Lords of Japan Winners

Last Monday, April 22nd, we had our final battles in War Lords of Japan, and they were exciting. Students were well prepared to answer any question I could throw at them in their efforts to conquer their foes to become the Shogun. However, in the end, each block ended with some distinct winners. Team Edo won in Blue block, Team Hokkaido came back from earlier defeat in Red block, and Team Sendai almost conquered the whole of Japan to become Shogun in Green Block. Below you will find pictures of the winning teams. After the simulation we ended the week with a test over China and Japan.

Now students will be studying Latin America, its geography, as well as the early civilizations of Maya, Aztecs, and Incas. This week we will take a quick look at the geography of the Americas, and do a quick map of the Caribbean. Then we will delve into the mysteries of the Maya and their culture. We only have a few weeks left in the school year and studying the above mentioned civilizations is a great way to end the year.
